Revel Systems has received the "Innovative Solution Award" in the point of sale (POS) category from the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA).
As an industry leader in providing POS terminals, Revel Systems has recently released Apple iPad POS solutions that allowed retailers to track real-time inventory, place and search for orders and engage customers through interactive mobile solutions.
"Our Retail solution has been getting a very positive response," said Lisa Falzone, CEO of Revel Systems. "We've always been known for our quality restaurant POS systems, and we're thrilled to be bringing this same Revel experience to the retail sector. We've already got some exciting, game-changing deals in the works."
One of those deals, recently unveiled to great acclaim was its iPad-based restaurant POS system, specifically designed for food trucks that are constantly on the go. With the booming popularity of food trucks around the continent, this could grant food truck business owners tremendous efficiency in the way they run their businesses.
A key feature of the iPad system is its complete integration with Twitter. Food trucks thrive and rely on social media and word-of-mouth promotions, placing even more importance on successful marketing strategies. Having Twitter embedded into the main console of the Revel Systems software allows food truck owners to engage with customers and alert them to special offers and possible changes in location.
Another primary benefit of the iPad-based system is Revel Router, developed by the company in conjunction with Apple. The Router allows customers to run their iPad POS systems without the need for any Internet connection hardware or wiring. It accesses the Internet through the user's 3G- or 4G-enabled Apple iPad.
