Founded in 2001, Collective Point of Sale Solutions (Collective P.O.S.) is Canada’s Choice for Payment Processing and Merchant Services.
We provide more than 11,000 small to medium-sized businesses across Canada with affordable, convenient and customized alternatives to the Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Interac processing services currently offered by major banks and other payment processors.
We serve a wide and growing range of businesses, including retail stores, restaurants, hotels and lodging providers, mobile services, e-commerce merchants, mail order/telephone order businesses, professional firms, health care clinics/practitioners, B2B product/service providers and many more.
Collective P.O.S. processes more than $1 billion in debit and credit transactions annually.
On February 1st, 2013, Collective P.O.S. was purchased by Elavon, a leading global payments provider and wholly-owned subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB). The company provides end-to-end payment processing solutions and services to more than one million merchants in the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Puerto Rico. Elavon's suite of solutions is tailored to meet the needs of merchants in specialized markets such as retail, hospitality/T&E, health care, education and the public sector. The company has over 3,500 employees worldwide.
In 2012, Collective P.O.S. was named one of Canada's Top 50 Best Small and Medium Employers as well as one of the Best Employers in the Greater Toronto Area.
In June 2008, Collective P.O.S. was listed among Profit Magazine’s Profit 100: Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies, thanks to revenue growth of 382% measured over a period of five years.
